Description

Most TEM training is written for airline crews, where a second pilot monitors and cross-checks. This course starts from the cockpit of a helicopter with one pilot on board: the threats you meet, the errors you can catch alone, and the routine that keeps them small.

What the course covers

  • The TEM model: threats, errors and undesired aircraft states, and how one leads to the next.
  • What changes when there is no second pilot to monitor and cross-check.
  • Countermeasures you can apply alone: anticipating threats, catching your own errors, recovering from an undesired aircraft state.
  • Cases taken from helicopter operations instead of airline ones.
  • A review quiz at the end.

Who it is for

Helicopter pilots who fly single-pilot, from private flying to commercial operations, and student pilots who want TEM explained with helicopter examples.

How it works

  • The course runs on my learning platform, learn.pivarotorsolutions.com. Your access opens the day the course is released, by 31 October 2026 at the latest.

What this course is not

It does not replace the CRM or TEM training required by your operator or training organisation. The certificate confirms that you completed this course; it is not a licence, rating or approval.
